I'm a journalist, and my experience sits where audio and video intersect. I've reported and produced on-air segments, packages and features, vertical video, live shows and podcast episodes for local and national media alike.
I make stories that stick — stories that answer big questions, break engagement records and reach younger listeners & viewers.
I'm a current senior at Northwestern University's Medill School. I grew up in Central Illinois, and I've loved the news since I was a kid. NBC was always on at dinner. I listened to local radio on the way to school. I had my own podcast!
Above all, my newsroom experiences have taught me how to tell stories for audiences, not about them. I've covered things like social media's impact on Gen Z, the state of Chicago's public transit system and how the Honeycrisp apple was born.
I've published work with places as small as that same hometown radio station I grew up listening to and as big as Apple News' daily news podcast. I've also won a regional Society of Professional Journalists award and was a finalist in NPR's College Podcast Challenge.
I'm currently looking for early career roles in multimedia-first-newsrooms — daily news or feature-length podcasts; short-form and social media video; or live radio. Please reach out!
